The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode concluded with a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of characters who will split off from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, separate from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table features Teor (played by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

Per the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might appear out of place, but the developments of the third episode show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing started the campaign’s events—used the foes for his own means, invading the secret base, striking Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The antagonist then settled his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, north of the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each character has a specific drive to exit the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to execute Teor and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could assist the party enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward Timmony in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we discover that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the other eight participants to form the Questers and Planners groups.

Viewers can expect learning which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on October 24.
