Los Angeles Explodes in Celebration as Los Angeles Dodgers Claim Back-to-Back World Series Championship
The City of Angels experienced citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos show countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
“My focus is already about the next championship we’re going to achieve this,” Shohei Ohtani remarked through an translator.
The parade route concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the players walked out to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard providing music and the artist driving a light blue vintage Cadillac around the field.
